Fossil Rim
After touring Dinosaur State Park Kevin, Cassidy and I went to stay at Fossil Rim Lodge. We had dinner at the Lodge Thursday night. Then, Friday morning we took a guided tour through Fossil Rim. The tour took about three and half hours. Normally, it takes about a hour and half, but due to the huge Spring Break crowd the tour took a lot longer. During the week of spring break if you drive through in your car the tour would have taken between five and six hours. They were averaging 700 cars a day. It was a great trip, but I would recommend going on a weekend other than Spring Break!

One of the highlights of the tour was feeding the giraffe! She ate right out of Cassidy and Kevin's hand! It was really neat to watch!

I know this was a huge post. We took so many pictures on this trip. Kevin and I are ready to go back to work so we can both rest. It was a very busy spring break!

Playdate at Gateway Park
On Wednesday we met Alison, Carter and Hayden at Gateway Park in Fort Worth for a picnic. We had originally planned on going to the Botanical Gardens for our picnic, but the traffic on 30 was horrible because it was half price day at the zoo. Alison directed us to this park and we had a great time chatting and watching the kids play. Cassidy and Carter seem to have fun wherever we go so they didn't mind that we weren't at the Botanical Gardens.

Cassidy at Mi Mi & Pa Pa's
Cassidy spent the night at Mi Mi and Pa Pa's after we went to the zoo last Sunday. Kevin went to pick her up on Monday and they enjoyed a day of fishing while I enjoyed a movie and lunch with some friends from work. I missed going to Mi Mi and Pa Pa's but I really enjoyed the movie and lunch. It was the perfect start for our spring break!
