Dance Recital May 14, 2009

Cassidy had her first dance recital on May 14, 2009. she did a great job. My Mom and Dad, Aunt Mundy, and cousins Lynn and Dean made the drive over to watch Cassidy preform. This first picture was taken on the night of dress rehearsal. It was a "professional" picture. I thought it turned out pretty good. The lighting at the actual dance recital wasn't great. Kevin took video also so I'll have to have him add that to the blog later. We were both very proud of our little dancer :)

She finally agreed to a family picture after we got her a balloon. I'm not sure why she hasn't been wanting to take family pictures lately.

Grandma, Cassidy and Lynn. Lynn was so sweet while she watched Cassidy. She is a great Cousin and we were so glad that they were able to come watch Cassidy on her big night. Mundy and Dean were there too I just didn't get a picture of them.

Cassidy with Ms Kaylea her teacher. Cassidy LOVES Ms. Kaylea she is so sweet to the girls and has sooo much patience. She works 3 jobs and goes to school part time. Cassidy will take lessons from her this summer also. She is a lot of fun :)

Mother's Day 2009

We had our annual Mother's Day gathering at Casa De Rosa. Every year we get together at Kevin's parents house for a fun filled Mother's Day. Each year we take a picture of the Mommies and their girls.

Emma and Libby. Libby just turned 6 and Emma will be 10 in July. I can't believe how grown up they both look in this picture.

It was a little muddy and the kids usually play outside so Mi Mi and Pa Pa set up a craft table in the garage. The girls really enjoyed playing with playdough, coloring and drawing.

We took the kids for a walk after our lunch and the 3 youngest girls enjoyed a ride in the wagon. I don't think the three of them will fit next year!

Pa Pa and Cassidy. We took the girls to do a little fishing at the small Fox Pond where only children and their parents or caregivers are allowed to fish. The girls enjoyed it!

Me and my baby. Can't believe that she is 4! She decided to put tattoos on her cheeks. She has dance pictures in two days! I wish Daddy would have checked in before applying 2 tattoos to his daughter's face!!! We had a wonderful Mother's Day!!!!

Forest Park Mini Train

I have been horrible at updating the blog lately. I have been on face book quite a bit and have managed to update photos on there a lot better. This Saturday Kevin, Cassidy and I met our friends for lunch and then we enjoyed a train ride on the Forest Mini Train in Fort Worth. If you live in the DFW and have small children I highly recommend this train. It's a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from our adventure.
