Mother's Day 2009

We had our annual Mother's Day gathering at Casa De Rosa. Every year we get together at Kevin's parents house for a fun filled Mother's Day. Each year we take a picture of the Mommies and their girls.

Emma and Libby. Libby just turned 6 and Emma will be 10 in July. I can't believe how grown up they both look in this picture.
It was a little muddy and the kids usually play outside so Mi Mi and Pa Pa set up a craft table in the garage. The girls really enjoyed playing with playdough, coloring and drawing.
Lynn, Cassie, and Mi Mi ready for a ride in the golf cart. The kids enjoy riding in the golf cart around the lake.
We took the kids for a walk after our lunch and the 3 youngest girls enjoyed a ride in the wagon. I don't think the three of them will fit next year!
Pa Pa and Cassidy. We took the girls to do a little fishing at the small Fox Pond where only children and their parents or caregivers are allowed to fish. The girls enjoyed it!
Jeff caught a fish. The girls were so thrilled!
Me and Lynn. Mundy took this picture. She mentioned that we had the same smile. She is right. Lynn is so much fun!!!
Me and my baby. Can't believe that she is 4! She decided to put tattoos on her cheeks. She has dance pictures in two days! I wish Daddy would have checked in before applying 2 tattoos to his daughter's face!!! We had a wonderful Mother's Day!!!!

Forest Park Mini Train

I have been horrible at updating the blog lately. I have been on face book quite a bit and have managed to update photos on there a lot better. This Saturday Kevin, Cassidy and I met our friends for lunch and then we enjoyed a train ride on the Forest Mini Train in Fort Worth. If you live in the DFW and have small children I highly recommend this train. It's a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from our adventure.
Cassidy running to catch the train!

While waiting for the train Carter and Cassidy enjoyed picking flowers throwing sticks and playing hide and seek. They are so cute together!

Cassidy did allow us to take one family picture. Too bad she closed her eyes and my huge Oprah arm is exposed :)

Good Friday

Cassidy and I spent Good Friday in Flower Mound. Cassidy and Lynn decorated eggs while Dean took a nap. They also swam in the hot tub.
Cassidy poses for a picture with the eggs
Cassidy dropped all her eggs in the dye very quickly. Lynn was more artistic and really decorated her eggs. They were more colorful and had neat designs. They both had fun!
Before be decorated eggs we took all three kids to Central Park in Lewisville. It was a beautiful day to be at the park!

Parker Square Egg Hunt 4-4-09

Mundy, Mom and I took Lynn to Parker Square in Flower Mound for an Easter Celebration. Grandpa stayed home while Dean took a nap. The girls had a great time, and enjoyed LOTS of candy!
Cassidy was off on the egg hunt! Candy really motivates her!
Lynn enjoyed the egg hunt!
Cassidy shared some of her eggs with Lynn
After the egg hunt the girls bounced in the bounce house and swam in the hot tub with Grandpa. It was warm that day!
Happy Birthday Uncle Jeff! After the egg hunt we had dinner at Gi Gi and Grandpa's and celebrated Jeff's 35th Birthday.

Fossil Rim

After touring Dinosaur State Park Kevin, Cassidy and I went to stay at Fossil Rim Lodge. We had dinner at the Lodge Thursday night. Then, Friday morning we took a guided tour through Fossil Rim. The tour took about three and half hours. Normally, it takes about a hour and half, but due to the huge Spring Break crowd the tour took a lot longer. During the week of spring break if you drive through in your car the tour would have taken between five and six hours. They were averaging 700 cars a day. It was a great trip, but I would recommend going on a weekend other than Spring Break! Kevin and Cassidy next to a large wind chime

I know this was a huge post. We took so many pictures on this trip. Kevin and I are ready to go back to work so we can both rest. It was a very busy spring break!
